Elections for Cambridge City Council also take place on 6th May. Cambridge City Conservatives are fielding candidates in each of the wards making up the Cambridge City Constituency as well as in the 3 by elections. The full list of candidates and links to their websites is shown below.
Although the Conservatives have been the second largest group of voters in local elections some years, we have only one councillor out of 42 in the city council chamber. Voting Conservative in the local elections is a chance to change this injustice and secure a better deal for voters:
- Value for money linked to open government, with clarity about how your Council Tax is spent and open procurement creating opportunities for local businesses.
- More say in your local area, with earlier consultation on projects and the chance to set priorities on how public services are delivered.
- Improving quality of life, making Cambridge a safer, cleaner and more fulfilling place to live for everyone.
