My name is Nick Hillman and I was chosen as Cambridge’s Conservative Candidate last December at a public meeting open to all local voters.
I have a long association with Cambridge and live within the city, just off the Newmarket Road. I was a postgraduate student at Christ’s College and trained as a teacher in local schools, including Hills Road Sixth Form College. I worked for 5 years as a teacher and spent 4 years working for pension companies. Most recently I have worked for David Willetts, Shadow Secretary of State for Universities and Skills.
